The kitchenette in our room was super handy for making snacks and drinks. The grounds were nice, offering some peaceful outdoor areas to unwind after our adventures. I'd recommend this spot for budget travelers looking for a place to relax while exploring the area.

However, one of my friends had a less than pleasant experience when they found the bathroom not properly cleaned. It wasn't ideal and made us uneasy during our stay.

Finding accommodation was challenging, but the unexpected view of the pond with benches added a pleasant touch to the stay. Unfortunately, we encountered a significant cleanliness issue, especially with stained surfaces and an unpleasant bathroom. Additionally, the thin walls made disturbances from outside quite bothersome, impacting our comfort during the night. While the location was convenient, it came with substantial drawbacks that overshadowed the positive aspects.

Do recommend for a weekend pause

The stay was pleasant. The Double Room with Two Double Beds was comfortable with clean sheets. I appreciated the kitchenette area and fridge for convenience. The outdoor space was nice, especially the pond. A satisfactory experience 😊.

Decent Overnight Stay for Exploring the Area!

I stayed in a King Room for a night while visiting Riverhead. The air conditioning worked well, keeping the room comfortable after a hot day of exploring. Enjoyed fresh coffee from the front desk in the morning, which was a nice touch. I'd suggest confirming shower water temperature beforehand.

I felt a bit uneasy right when I entered the Swiss Motel room. The first impression hit hard when I found a roach running across the small counter. The microwave looked dirty and was unplugged, which didn’t add to the charm. The hardwood laminate flooring was a plus, but there were cracks and stains on the ceiling I couldn't ignore. I spotted what appeared to be dried blood on the bathroom door, and cobwebs sat untouched in the corners. The bed was a big letdown—it felt like a pit, and I barely got any sleep. Upon checking out, the guy in the office laughed when we expressed our concerns, making the experience worse. Overall, the place felt way overpriced for the quality. For the same amount, I could have stayed somewhere much nicer, but it was a last-minute choice during a busy weekend. Lessons learned for next time!

Excellent place with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and non-smoking rooms. The staff even helped me retrieve forgotten items during my first stay. I highly recommend it for a relaxing weekend getaway.

It was just a perfect match for a fleeting stay in Riverhead with extraordinarily good value for money. They even saved my sports coat when I accidentally left it behind, which was a nice surprise. Check the shower for hot water before getting settled in.
